Seminar-Recruiting,Training & Evaluting PSers: Recruitment

A presentation by Dr. Guadalupe Ayala with the Peers for Progress grantee project in California on how to select and recruit volunteer peer supporters among Hispanic/Latino populations with diabetes. Preliminary findings and discussions on motivations for volunteering as well as “active’ vs. “passive” recruitment are included. It is part of a seminar at the 2011 annual meeting of the Society of Behavioral Medicine.

A guide providing information and resources for designing, enhancing or refining peer support program. It also includes interactive tools and web-based resources selected and compiled by Peers for Progress. This guide is developed by the Peers for Progress Program Development Center.
