Global Network of Peer Support Organizations
The Global Network of Peer Support Organizations began with 14 projects funded by Peers for Progress: 6 short-term projects (Demonstration Grants) and 8 long-term projects (Evaluation Grants). Since then, this community has grown with membership from other peer support programs and organizations around the world. Together, we aim to demonstrate the value of peer support, extend what we know about its contributions to health promotion and disease management, and promote peer support as a core component of helping people lead health lives around the world.
